Keto and pasta – first thing comes to mind, it is not possible. But you can have macaroni and cheese keto and remain in ketosis! All you need to do is get a keto-friendly pasta. And yes although it might sound fantastic but it exists!
Macaroni and Cheese Keto Recipe
- 1 pack of low carb pasta (below you will find listed the best keto pasta options available online)
- Salt, pepper to taste
- Butter – 4 tablespoons
- Double cream ¾ of a cup
- Cheddar cheese grated 2 cups
- Cook keto pasta in a boiling water
- Heat the cooking pan for the sauce
- Put butter on the pan and let it melt
- Add cream, mix, if needs be add some water
- Put cheese, salt and pepper, mix and cook for 5 min until cheese melts
- Add sauce to the pasta and serve straight away. Spices can be added to the taste

- 500 g of minced beef
- 1 onion
- Olive oil for frying
- Salt, pepper
- 250 g of tomato paste
- Chop the onion into small pieces
- Fry the onion on olive oil on small heat till it becomes yellowish and tender
- Add beef and fry on low heat till meat becomes brown, mix
- Add tomato paste, salt and pepper, mix well and continue cooking on low heat for about 10 minutes
- You can add some shredded cheese, parsley, paprika and other spices to your taste
- While you cooking the sauce you boil pasta
- I freeze my bolognese sauce but best always to serve fresh
Keto Carbonara Pasta:

- 200 grams of bacon cubes
- 2 eggs
- 50 grams of cheese (cheddar or parmesan to your taste)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for frying
- Fry the bacon cubes
- Separate 1 yolk from one of the eggs
- In a bowl put 1 full egg, cheese, 1 egg yolk and add pepper to taste, mix all together
- Add pasta to bacon cubes and cook together on a slow heat for 5 minutes
- Add egg cheese mixture to the pasta pan
- Switch off the heat and add salt and some hard grated cheese to the taste
